A note on court filing fees

Court filing fees go to the court, not to us. They are separate from the $999 RecordReset fee. Typical ranges:

  • • Texas expunction: $200–$400 depending on county
  • • California §1203.4 dismissal: typically free or under $150
  • • New York §160.59 sealing: $0 (no statutory fee)
  • • Florida §943.0585 expunction: $75 to FDLE for the certificate
  • • Illinois sealing/expungement: $120–$160 in most circuit courts
  • • Georgia restriction: typically $25 GBI fee

Some clients qualify for fee waivers based on income. We'll point you at the right form for your county.
