We compare your answers against the state statute that governs your case. Texas: Tex. Code Crim. Proc. ch. 55 + ch. 411. California: PC §§ 1203.4, 851.91, AB 1076 / SB 731. Each verdict cites the law that supports it.
You see a clear verdict
Likely eligible. Eligible after a waiting period. May be eligible — review needed. Or not eligible under the rule we applied. We tell you the reasoning, not just the answer.
You choose what's next
If eligible, you can save the result, upload supporting documents, and either prepare a self-service petition or upgrade to attorney-reviewed concierge. We never auto-file anything on your behalf.
Why we built it this way
Many record-clearing platforms operate on fear: send you a list of “found records” to scare you into paying. We don't. RecordReset asks you about your own case, in your own words, and gives you back the relevant law plus a clear answer. No mugshots, no urgency banners, no pressure.
